Welcome to MetaboliteCOVID!
COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has profoundly affected health, the economy, and society on a global scale. The study found that the levels of some metabolites in patients infected with COVID-19 were deviated from normal levels, suggesting that COVID-19 may have an impact on metabolic processes in the body. This finding has important clinical significance for understanding the impact of the virus on the human body and providing a basis for clinical treatment and prevention measures.
Here, we developed MetaboliteCOVID, a database that records the diverse and relevant metabolites affected by COVID-19 in the human body. The current version of MetaboliteCOVID records the relevant data of 665 manually found differential metabolites, based on biochemical indicators, the data is categorized into Disease biomarker, Severity marker, Drugs response, and Prognostic marker.MetaboliteCOVID provides a user-friendly platform for querying, browsing, and visualizing relevant information, aiding in disease prevention, treatment, and clinical decisions.
